Sadr urges citizens to protest security deterioration

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr condemned “The silence of the people concerning the terrorist bombings,” stressing that “the people of other countries would revolt and call for toppling the government if their countries witnessed such bombings.”

Commenting on the recent bombings, he said “We witness strange silence over these bombings and we cannot grant the government another chance to improve the situation.”

“People must call for their rights to change the situation through their protests,” he added.

“Kirkuk province suffers as Baghdad does and the central and southern provinces became a target for the bombings and the assassinations while the government does not take any action,” he concluded.
