Urgent – Double car bombings hit Zafaraniya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Two car bombs in addition to an Improvised Explosive Device went off in Zafaraniya area of southeastern Baghdad on Saturday evening.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Two car bombs followed by an IED exploded killing five citizens and injuring 19 others.”

“The security forces closed the explosion area and transferred the dead to the morgue and the injured to the hospital,” the source concluded.

Baghdad witnessed a series of bombings killing and injuring dozens of citizens on Saturday evening.
