IHEC calls nominees of Kurdistan Region not to hold electoral propagandas on Facebook

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission called the nominees of the elections of Kurdistan Region not to hold their electoral propagandas on Facebook.

The Director of the General Relations within the IHEC, Abdul Rahman Khalifa, stated in a press conference” Holding the electoral propagandas on Facebook is illegal,” noting that “The IHEC did not finish checking the names of the candidates and the time limit for holding the electoral propagandas did not start yet.”

He called “the candidates to have flexible propagandas and the violators will hold the complete responsibly and the confidence will be withdrawn from him or her.”
