Khuzayi, delegation of Taghyeer Movement discuss security, political updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, and a delegation from Taghyeer Kurdish Movement, headed by MP Lateef Mustafa, the updates of the security and political situation.

A statement by Khuzayi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Khuzayi received the delegation at his office in Baghdad where they tackled the means of solving the problems that the political process suffers from.”

“Khuzayi confirmed the Presidency’s adherence to Iraq’s unity and safety and appreciation for the Kurdish role in supporting the political process,” the statement continued.

“Both sides discussed the mutual concerns and the efforts to develop the services presented to the citizens,” the statement added.

“The delegation expressed their concerns over the violations that may take place in the next electoral process in Kurdistan, calling the Presidency to have a greater role to ensure transparent elections,” the statement concluded.
