Maliki’s Party criticizes some blocs’ description for government as ruling party

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Islamic Dawa Party headed by the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki criticized some political blocs’ description for the government as the ruling party.

The IDP cited “Some political blocs describes the government through the media outlets as the ruling party and mislead the people with this term where Iraq enjoys national partnership government in which all are responsible for any bad performance or negligence including those blocs which name the government as ruling party.”

“Those who use this term are unconsciously underestimating their role within the government,” the statement stressed.

“The IDP calls on those who describe the government as the ruling party to reconsider themselves and to be honest with themselves and with the Iraqi people instead of trying to beautify their images before the public opinion through distorting the others’ images,” the statement concluded.
