Non-changing officials behind continuing security – electricity crises, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Wihda al-Jumaili of the Mutahidoun Coalition stressed that “Non-changing the security leaders and the officials at the Electricity Ministry is behind the continuing security breaches and the electricity crisis.”

Jumaili said “The clear security deterioration in Baghdad and Diyala obliged the parliament to host the two Governors of these provinces and the heads of the local governments as well as the security leaders of these two provinces to discuss these topics.”

“The deteriorated electricity situation also made the parliament obliged to host the Minister of Electricity and the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussein al-Shahristani to discuss this flounder,” she stressed.
