Civilian killed, another injured southwestern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A civilian was killed and another was injured due to explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device inside a shop for selling food stuff southwestern the Iraqi Capital Baghdad.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “An IED exploded inside a shop for selling food stuff in Furat neighborhood of southwestern Baghdad,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing a civilian and injuring another.”

The source added “The explosion also caused material damage for the shop,” stressing that “Police patrols transported the dead body to the morgue and the injured person to the hospital for treatment.”
