Iran condemns Iraq bombings, describes them as part of international plot

(IraqiNews.com) Iran condemned the recent bombings in Iraq.

Baghdad and a number of provinces witnessed on last Monday a new wave of car bombings that resulted in killing and injuring dozens mostly civilians.

The Iranian IRNA News Agency quoted the spokesperson of Iran Foreign Ministry, Abbas Iraqaji as saying “We condemn the terrorist bombings the Iraqi provinces witnessed in recent which led to dozens of deaths and injuries.”

Iraqaji expressed deep concerns on the spate of the terrorist operations in Iraq and held the sides which seek to achieve their illegitimate political goals through the terrorist groups, responsibility for these criminal acts.

The spokesperson described the events in Iraq as part of serious plot set by the international hegemonic forces to ignite the sectarian strife in the Islamic world, according to IRNA.

He called all the Islamic regimes and peoples to assume their responsibility in confronting this serious plot.
