MoD demands Kurdistan Region security forces to arrest terrorist in Erbil

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Military Intelligence Body within the Ministry of Defense demanded the security authorities in Kurdistan Region to arrest a gunman affiliated to a terrorist cell in Erbil province.The Ministry of Defense declared in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The intelligence security forces managed to arrest a five person terrorist cell, who are manufacturing chemicals to be used in armed operations, after chasing them for three months on last June.”The Commander of the Military Intelligence Body, Lieutenant General Hatim al-Maksosi, reported in press statement received by IraqiNews.com ”A member of the terrorist cell managed to flee during the arrest operation and we received information refers that he went to Erbil province, ” stressing that ”The security authorities in Kurdistan Region should coordinate with the security forces of the Ministry of Defense to arrest the absconder.” END
