Security plan of Eid al-Fitr approved in Dhi-Qar

Dhi-Qar, Nassiriya (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Dhi-Qar province, Yahiya Mohamed al-Baqer, announced approving the security plan dedicated for Eid al-Fitr by the Supreme Security Committee in the province.The Governor reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com “The Supreme Security Committee held a wide meeting attended by all security leaders and endorsed the security plan which was prepared by the security bodies to provide protection for all entertainment areas and residential complexes during days of Eid al-Fitr.””The security plan will focus on adopting intelligence information to provide proactive plans of terrorist groups in addition to distribute all kinds of security forces specially in the external security checkpoints,” he added.”The execution of security plan will be monitored by the Supreme Security Committee considering current situation and the recent security breaches which aim at disturbing security and stability in Iraq,” he concluded. \END\
