Security leaders not to answer parliament’s invitation, says Othman

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mahmoud Othman of the Kurdistani Alliance ruled out the attendance of the security leaders to the parliament session to discuss the security breaches.

Othman told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “I do not think the security leaders will attend the parliament,” noting “the parliament forwarded two official invitations to top security leaders but they did not meet the invitation.”

“The security leaders will not attend the parliament without gaining the approval of the Commander General of Armed Forces, Nouri al-Maliki who stressed that he did not receive any official invitation concerning those leaders hosting, ” he added pointing out “The parliament chairmanship assured that it informed Maliki.”
