Babel gets additional electric power

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Babel Provincial Council’s Chairman, Ra’ad al-Jubouri announced that the province got an increase in the electric power extended from the Electricity Ministry to Babel estimated at 120 mega watt where the provision of power became 410 mega watt instead of 290 mega watt.

Jubouri told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Ministry of Electricity promised us to rise the amount of electric energy provided to the province to 480 mega watt during the few coming months.”

“The increase would be after inaugurating the under establishment stations in the Middle Euphrates provinces including Babel,” he added noting “The actual need of Babel is 800 mega watt including 100 mega watt for the industrial foundations.”
