MP accuses government of protecting corrupted senior officials

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussein al-Sharifi, of the Ahrar Bloc assured that the Parliament’s supervisory tasks are subject to political compliments and the Government is protecting for corrupt senior officials.

Sharifi reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The supervisory tasks of the Parliament are subject to political compliments, even if the Parliament is practicing its supervisory role, the government is protecting the corrupted officials.”

”The Government is accounting the employees in the State institutions,” he concluded.
