Urgent – 38 Persons killed, wounded in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) About 38 persons were killed and wounded due to a suicide bombing to the south of Tikrit city.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”The suicide bomber detonated his explosive vest inside a popular café in Balad district of southern Tikrit, ” noting that ”The suicide bombing resulted in killing 22 persons and wounding 16 others while the whole café building was destroyed due to the explosion.”

“The police cordoned the explosion area off while the ambulances transported the corpses to the morgue and the wounded people to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
