Khalil accuses parliament chairmanship of delaying parliament performance

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Fiyan Khalil, of the Kurdistani Alliance accused the parliament chairmanship of delaying the parliament session by making a long holiday.

She stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The long holiday of the parliament was not necessary and we respect Ramadan month and the holiday of Eid Al-Fitr was over on last Monday where the parliament had to resume its sessions due to the disturbed situation, but unfortunately the MPs are roaming somewhere in Europe and do not care.”

“When the citizens criticize the parliament performance, we do not like it because they are saying the truth,” she pointed out, assuring that “If some key officials were busy, the MPs would have to hold the parliament session and continue its agenda.”
