SWAT officer, his driver injured in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An officer within SWAT forces along with his driver were injured in Tikrit city on Wednesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “A roadside bomb exploded targeting the vehicle of the officer, Uday Mohamed al-Jabara, in Tikrit, injuring and his driver seriously.”

“The security forces blocked the explosion vicinity and transferred the injured to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
