Oil pipeline detonated in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) The Oil pipeline that transports crude Oil to Turkey was detonated to the north of Mosul city.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com that ”Unidentified gunmen detonated the crude Oil pipeline by an Improvised Explosive Device in Jomar area of northern Mosul city, ” noting that ”The explosion of the IED caused material damages where Oil started leaking from the pipeline.”

”A police patrol attended the explosion scene and then another IED exploded wounding four policemen,” the source added.”The ambulance vehicles rushed to the explosion scene transporting the wounded policemen to the hospital for treatment while the vehicles of the Civil Defense Directorate attended to put out the fire,” the source concluded.
