Jabar calls FM to follow up file of Iraqi prisoners in KSA

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The member of the Foreign Relations Parliamentary Committee Rafi Abdul Jabar urged the Foreign Ministry to follow up the file of the Iraqi prisoners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

MP Jabar stated to IraqiNews.com Monday “According to the International Law, the citizens of a foreign country abide by the laws of the country they reside, but the Saudi laws as we know are strict and severe which puts Iraq in a political problem with the KSA in relation to the laws issued against members of the Iraqi community in the Kingdom.”

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should realize the reasons that make the Saudi authorities execute the Iraqi prisoners in the Kingdom since they are nor terrorists and their crimes are related to trespassing the borders rather than major crimes,” he concluded.
