Maliki sends message to Biden over developments of Syrian situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, sent a message to the US Vice-President, Joseph Biden, over the developments of the Syrian situation.

“Maliki called to avoid conducting a military attack against Syria,” according to a press source.

Earlier, the US President, Barack Obama, said Saturday that the United States has decided to use military force against Syria, calling last week’s alleged chemical weapons attack there “an attack on human dignity,” but said he would seek congressional authorization for an attack.
