MP criticizes invitation of Saudi King to Iraqi chieftains to meet in KSA
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ibrahim al-Rikabi, of the Parliamentary Tribes Committee rejected the invitation of the Saudi King, Abdul Allah Bin Abdul al-Aziz, to the Iraqi chieftains to meet in Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “This invitation is a dangerous interference in the Iraqi affairs and we reject it because it is a violation to the Iraqi traditions where Saudi Arabia has to meet with it tribes in Ihsaa and Qatif.”

“The government was not acquainted with this invitation and we will condemn the chieftains who will attend the meeting because they will be ordered by the Saudi sides,” he added, noting that “Even if we disputed over the internal affairs, we can settle the disputes.”

It is worth mentioning that the Saudi King invited more than a thousand Iraqi chieftains to attend a meeting in Saudi Arabia.
