MP urges to endorse law to preserve rights of Iraqi communities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Imad Yohana, of Rafidain Parliamentary bloc urged to endorse a law that preserves the rights of the Iraqi communities.

A statement by him received by IraqiNews.com cited “Among the most important points in such law are to prevent discrimination among the Iraqi communities and to protect these communities from migration as well as granting the right to practice their political and social rights.

“The Committee that was formed by the parliament to draft this law held a meeting under the patronage of UNAMI to discuss the draft with the representatives of all communities in Iraq,” the statement concluded.
