Nijaifi, Larijani discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the head of Iranian Shura Council, Ali Larijani, discussed bilateral relations.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Both sides discussed the means of consolidating bilateral relations especially in the parliamentary level.”

“They discussed the Iraqi scene and the security developments especially the return of the militias and terrorists who displace and kill families in Iraq,” the statement added.

“They also discussed the issue of the joint water resources in addition to the Syrian crisis and its critical regional consequences,” the statement concluded.
