Sunday holiday announced in Kurdistan Region

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistan Regional Government announced next Sunday a holiday due to holding the Kurdistani parliamentary elections.

The Official Spokesperson of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Savin Dazia, reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Monday ”All the cities and areas in Kurdistan Region will witness the general ballot on next Saturday, 21 / September,” noting that “We congratulate the people of Kurdistan Region on this occasion and announce our commitment to the instructions that were set by the Independent High Electoral Commission IHEC.”

”On this occasion, we announce next Sunday as a holiday for all governmental institutions in Kurdistan Region,” he concluded.
