Zebari receives credentials of Nepal, Djibouti, Ireland Ambassadors

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, received copy of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassadors of Nepal, Djibouti and Ireland.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari received on September 18, 2013 copy of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Nepal, Baharat Raj Baodial.”

“The Minister welcomed the Ambassador and discussed with him enhancing the bilateral relations,” the statement revealed.

“The Minister also received on the same day copy of the credentials of the newly appointed Djibouti Ambassador to Iraq, Mohammed Ali Mumin. The two sides stressed their countries’ keenness on developing and activating bilateral relations to reach to a resident diplomatic representation. Minister Zebari praised the stances of Djibouti towards Iraq,” the statement added.

“Minister Zebari received also copies of credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Ireland to Iraq, Neil Holohan. During the meeting, the two sides discussed relations between the two countries. The Minister urged the Irish side to open an Embassy in Iraq,” the statement continued.

“The ambassadors will carry out their missions as non-resident ambassadors to Iraq, but, it will be a prelude towards reaching a full diplomatic representation in the future and another evidence of the increasing trust of the world in the new democratic Iraq,” the statement concluded.
