Basra Governor, Turkish Consul discuss joint cooperation

Basra (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Basra province, Majid al-Nasrawi, discussed with the new Turkish Consul in Basra province, the joint cooperation.

A statement by Basra Provincial Council received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nasrawi met with the new Turkish Consul in Basra province where they discussed the joint cooperation and activating the commercial and economic relations.”

“Nasrawi welcomed the Turkish Consul and assured facilitating his tasks to achieve the interests of the two sides,” the statement added.

“For his part, the Turkish Consul expressed his happiness to work in Basra province, assuring that Turkey is highly interested in Basra and its economic statues to activate the commerce between the two countries,” the statement concluded.
