IHEC: No registered breaches accompanied special voting in Kurdistan Region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced that there were no breaches in the special voting that is going on in Kurdistan Region.

The spokesperson of the IHEC, Safaa al-Mousawi, stated in a press conference “The special voting that started at 7: am on Thursday is flexible and good where the IHEC did not register any breaches during it and there are no big challenges expect the problem of the employees of the IHEC which was settle by the electronic stamp that is used in Iraq for the first time.”

“The electronic stamp is safety for the elections and ensures the safety for the political process where the participation is good,” he concluded.
