KA MP rules out forging Kurdistan Region elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mouaed al-Tayib, the spokesperson of the Kurdistani Alliance stated that the possibility of forging the elections of Kurdistan Region is not big and it will not affect the results of the elections if it happens.”

Tayib stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Kurdistani Regional Government and the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, in addition to the international observers will observe the elections and the reports over forging the elections are incorrect because there will be representatives of the political blocs in the electoral centers.”

“Even if the forgery takes place, it will not affect the results of the elections and I assure that the Kurdistani Democratic Party will top the other blocs and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan will be in the second place and the Change bloc and the Islamic parties will be in the third place,” he added, noting that “The opposition parties will lose some seats that will be for the KDP and the PUK.”
