Diwaniya Governor visits embassies of Turkey, S. Korea, Australia

Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Diwaniya, Ammar al-Madani, discussed with the ambassadors of Turkey, South Korea and Australia, during his visits for the embassies of these countries in Baghdad, the means of making use of the technological and investment expertise of these countries to develop the situation of the province.

Madani stated to Iraqi News “The visit was an introductory one to be followed by other visits to hold economic agreements for the benefit of the province,” noting that “I have discussed with the Australian Ambassador to Iraq the agricultural investment opportunities since Diwaniya is well known of its agricultural aspect.”

He added “I have discussed with the S. Korean and Turkish ambassadors to Iraq the possibility of establishing large scale industrial projects in the province.”

“The embassies I have visited have very limited information about Diwaniya Province due to lack of media outlets that introduce investment opportunities in Diwaniya for the investors,” Dr. Ammar al-Madani concluded.
