Electoral center: Leader within PUK violates electoral laws

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The head of the 11th of September electoral center, Hamad Amin, criticized the visit of the leader within the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Sa’adi Beera, to the center accompanied by his armed guards.

Amin stated in a press conference “Beera visited the center accompanied by his armed guards and did not adhere to our warns over leaving the center because his name was not registered in the center to vote in the elections and he wondered about posting the photograph of Mustafa al-Barzani in the center.”

Amin held “The security forces guarding the center of the violation of the law by allowing Beera to enter the center,” assuring that “I will submit a complain to the Independent High Electoral Commission over this issue.”

For his part, Beera stated “I did not refer to the photograph of Mustafa al-Barzani.”
