CBI announces increase  in USD sales during Sunday auction
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Central Bank of Iraq announced a rise in dollar sales in the auction session of Sunday compared with the Saturday auction session where the dollar sales reached USD $165,000,000.

The CBI reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”During Sunday auction session, the CBI sold USD $173,643,000 at price of 1166 Iraqi Dinars with the participation of 18 banks.”

”The price of bank transfers sales reached 1179 Iraqi Dinars per $1 USD including the commission deducted by the CBI while the price of US dollar cash reached 1171 Iraqi Dinars,” the statement added.”

The CBI will continue selling US dollar in return of 1166 Iraqi dinar within the same commission,” the statement pointed out.

Statistics prepared by IraqiNews.com regarding USD sales by the CBI revealed a total volume of USD $4,563,000,751 during August 2013.
