Iran: Bombing of Sadr city to create sectarian conflict in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iran condemned the terrorist bombings that took place in Sadr city of eastern Baghdad and resulted in killing and injuring 275 citizens.

The spokesperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Mardhiya Afkham, stated on Sunday “The terrorist attacks that targeted Sadr city are to create the sectarian sedition and involve Iraq in the sectarian and internal conflict.”

“We condole the Iraqi people and government and assure our support to the Honor Document signed by the Iraqi political leaders,” she added, warning from “The continuity of terrorism and sectarianism in the region.”
