IHEC: 1st group of polls of Kurdistan Region elections to be sent to Baghdad for counting process

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission decided to send the first group of the polls of the elections of Kurdistan Region to Baghdad for completing the counting process.

The Director of the office of the IHEC in Erbil, Hindreen Mohammed, stated “The first group of the polls of Kurdistan Region elections will be sent to Baghdad after finishing counting them in Kurdistan Region.”

“The final results cannot be declared in a short time till finishing counting all the polls and then sending them to Baghdad,” he concluded.
