Urgent – 36 Civilians killed, wounded in Mosul, Iraq

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) About (36) civilians were killed and wounded when a vehicle bomb went off in a market for selling books and stationery in Mosul city.

Security source reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday ”The vehicle bomb, which exploded in a market for selling books and stationery, resulted in killing one civilian and wounding (35) others in Nijaifi street of central Mosul city, the capital of Nineveh province.”

”The police transported the dead body to the morgue and the wounded civilians to the hospital for treatment,” the source added.”The explosion came in coincide with the beginning with the new academic year where people are filling markets to purchase school requirements,” the source concluded.
