Ankara announces arresting 17 Kurdish escapees from Bengol prison

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Turkish Interior Minister announced the arrest of 17 Kurdish escapees out of 18 who had escaped from Bengol prison.

In his personal account on Twitter, the Minister said “17 of the escapees were arrested and the security forces are searching for the 18th.”

The escapees are accused if being members in the Kurdistani Workers Party which is also known as the PKK.
