Hakim launches initiatives related to Education, Housing Civil ID in Basra
Basra (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, launched three important projects in Basra province related to Education and housing fields and the Civil Identification Card.
Addressing a gathering of Shaheed al-Mihrab supporters in the province on Friday, he said “Basra province a complete reconstruction project where launched three initiatives yesterday related to the practical professional knowledge, Bank of Basra and Basra Dam.”
“Today Also we launch three others where the first is project related to preparing an excellent generation for Basra through by erecting 500 schools and 250 kindergartens as well as professional and well-qualified institution to prepare the teachers,” he stressed.
“The second project is called Basra Housing 2020 that involves building 50.000 housing units for 500.000 citizens while the third project is to issue the national civil Identification Card,” he continued.
“The start should be launched by us by preparing ourselves to go further to wider horizons,” he concluded.
