10 Civilians killed, wounded in Shurqat

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Ten civilians were killed and wounded when two houses detonated in Shurqat district of northern Tikrit city.Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Sunday ”Unidentified gunmen emplaced Improvised Explosive Devices inside two houses in Salman village of the Left Side of Shurqat district.””The two house were detonated by the IEDs and resulted in killing four persons and wounding six others as well as causing material damages to the both houses, ” the source added, noting that ”All the victims are from one house since the other house was empty at the incident time,” ”The police transported the corpses to the morgue and the wounded to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
