Citizen bloc condemns Erbil bombings

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Citizen bloc condemned the terrorist bombings in Erbil.

The head of the Citizen bloc, Baqir Jabur al-Zubaidi, stated in a press statement received by Iraqi News “The terrorist attacks in Erbil aim at disturbing the security situation in Erbil.”

“Terrorism is one all over the world and targeting Baghdad, Cairo and Nairobi is targeting the humanity and all the peoples in the world,” he added.

“The terrorist attacks in Erbil target the democracy in Kurdistan Region and the results of the elections announced by the Independent High Electoral Commission,” he acknowledged, assuring that “These bombings will not hinder the democratic process and holding the elections in Iraq and will be a motivation to go on in building the just State of Iraq.”
