5 IA elements killed, injured northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army soldier was killed and four others were injured due to explosion of roadside bomb northern Tikrit.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Monday “A bomb exploded targeting a military patrol near Makhzan village of northern Tikrit,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing an IA soldier and injuring an officer and three IA soldiers.”

Security forces transported the casualties to a hospital for treatment, while the dead body was transferred to the morgue, the source concluded.
