Kurdish MP describes PUK’s losing elections as "Relapse"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Burhan Mohammed Faraj, of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan described losing the elections to be in the third position as “A relapse.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We are not satisfied over the results of the elections because they do not suit the sacrifices of the party and we think that the results are due to many mistakes where the leaders within the PUK have to correct these mistakes.”

Regarding the possibility of allying with the other winning parties, he said “It is too early to talk about this issue but the alliances and the opposition can be done where the PUK is holding conference to settle the problems that it had during the elections.”
