Bayati: Lack of citizens’ cooperation with ISF behind security deterioration in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abbas al-Bayati, of the State of Law Coalition mentioned that the lack of citizens’ cooperation with the Iraqi Security Forces is behind the security deterioration.

He stated to Iraqi News “There is no doubt that the security situation in Mosul city is bad,” noting that “There should be cooperation with the security forces, deploying sufficient security elements, supporting the Sahwa forces and developing their performance.”

“These measures will participate in reducing the bombings,” he added.

“Since Mosul is close to the Syrian borders, then it will be target for the terrorist groups so the protection of the borers must be enhanced,” he concluded.
