Death toll of Monday blasts hit 25 deaths, 85 injuries

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Eight car bombs and an Improvised Explosive Device exploded in nine areas in Baghdad on Monday evening and resulted in killing and wounding (110) persons as an initial count.According to security and medical sources ”The first car bomb exploded in Ubaydi area and resulted in killing a civilian and wounding five others followed by car bomb explosion in Baghdad al-Jadeeda area which resulted in killing a civilian and wounding eight others while the human casualties due to the IED which went off in Camp Sarah area resulted in killing three persons and wounding eight others.””The car bomb which exploded in Zafaraniya area resulted in killing four civilians and wounding (14) others and the car bomb that exploded in Dora area resulted in killing four persons and wounding seven others followed by an explosion of a car bomb in Husseiniya area killing four persons and wounding (14) others,” the sources added.”The last three car bombs exploded in E’lam neighborhood and caused three deaths and (11) injuries among civilians followed by the explosion in Tayran Square which resulted in killing two persons and wounding ten others, and finally the car bomb in Saydiya area which resulted in killing three persons and wounding ten others,” the sources concluded. \END\
