CoM instructs to pay medical expenses of Iraqi author Shaker al-Mayah

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Presidency of the Council of Ministers instructed the Ministry of Culture to pay all the medical expenses of the treatment of the creative writer, Shaker Kadhim al-Mayah.The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, instructed the Ministry of Culture to handle the expenses of the medical treatment of the author, Shaker Kadhim al-Mayah, since he suffers of diabetes.””The Citizens Affairs and Public Relations Directorate within the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers approached the office of the Premier to obtain the required approvals related to handle the medical expenses of the Iraqi author and to follow his medical condition in coordination with the Ministry of Health,” the statement added. \END\
