Sihail, Kuwaiti delegation discuss common cooperation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The first Deputy Parliament Speaker, Qusai al-Sihail discussed in Geneva the Iraqi-Kuwaiti bilateral relations with a delegation from the Kuwaiti parliament.A statement by Sihail’s office cited “On sidelines of his participation in the World Parliament Union, 129th round, held in Geneva, Sihail met with the Kuwaiti parliament delegation where they looked into upgrading the parliament relations between both countries as well as discussing the general situation in the region.”The 2nd Deputy parliament Speaker called for “Strengthening the Arab countries’ solidarity to prevent the penetration of the terrorists to Iraq and stop supporting the Takfiri thought in Iraq,” confirming that “Iraq is keen to keep balanced relations with all the regional countries especially with the neighboring countries.”Sihail invited the Kuwaiti parliament to visit Iraq to reach mutual mechanisms concerning consolidating bilateral relations.The Kuwaiti side welcomed the invitation to visit Iraq, wishing Iraq to enjoy its Arab and international standing.
