Key Al-Qaeda leader captured in northern Babel by Iraqi Army

Babel (IraqiNews.com) A joint force from the Iraqi Army captured the key leader within the Qaeda Organization (Wali of the Fatih Regiment, A. J.) after heavy clashes to the north of Babel.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com “A joint force from the Iraqi Army stormed the Farisiya area located at the skirts of Musayeb district to the north of Babel province,” noting that “The operation resulted in arresting the Wali of Fatih Regiment within the Qaeda Organization after heavy clashes with his followers and discovering secret routs and training camps that comprise ammunition, snipers, explosives, communication devices, a factory for manufacturing car bombs, different passports and a list of 13 parliamentary members or officials who have been observes on daily bases to be assassinated by armed groups.”
