Bazoni accuses Dawa party of monopolizing credit of Sports city inauguration

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, from Basra province accused the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Dawa Party of dominating the inauguration of the sports city in Basra province by highlighting the political figures affiliated to Dawa party while many political figures were not invited to attend the inauguration ceremony.

Bazoni stated to IraqiNews.com ”The media outlets were focusing on The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, the Chairman of Basra Provincial Council, Khalaf Abdul Samad, and some other political figures such as Kamal al-Saidi who are affiliated to Dawa Party.””The ceremony of Sports City in Basra province aimed at highlighting some figures in particular to grant them the credit in establishing the sports city and did not allow others to share them this joy which is supposed to be for all Iraqis,” he added. \END\
