Baiji Police Commander dismissed due to security breaches

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The Police Commander of Baiji district of Salah il-Din province Colonel, Jalal al-Zavala, was replaced with the Colonel, Khalil al-Sahan.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Police Commander of Baiji district Colonel, Jalal al-Zawali, was replaced with the Colonel, Khalil al-Sahan due to the security breaches and the armed activities in the district,” noting that “The decision was also due to the weak security measures to eliminate terrorism.”

“Sahan was appointed as a replacement to Zawali who is the Commander of Baiji district for more than two years,” he concluded.
