Car bomb, IED defused in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A security force succeeded in defusing a car bomb as well as an Improvised Explosive Device in Baghdad on Thursday.

A statement by Baghdad Operations Command received by IraqiNews.com cited “The force discovered the car bomb parked in al-Diwanim area and the IED in al-Nahrwan area.”

“The Explosive Ordinance Disposal team managed to defuse them,” the source concluded.
