Nineveh Governor holds security forces responsible for bombing targeted Shabak

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Nineveh, Athil al-Nijaifi, held “The security forces responsible for the terrorist bombing that targeted the Shabak community in the province on Thursday.”

He posted through his Facebook page “All security sides are responsible for the attack.”

“All negligent sides should be punished due to such breaches,” he concluded.

Earlier, a car bomb exploded targeting a housing complex for Shabak community in Nineveh on Thursday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The car bomb went off near the complex in Bartla district,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing 15 persons and 60 others including women and children.”

“A security force transported the injured to the hospital for treatment and the dead to the morgue,” the source concluded.
