Wasit PC dismisses current police commander,

Wasit (IraqiNews.com) The Provincial Council of Wasit province voted for dismissing the Police Commander, Raad Shaker Jawadat, and appointing a new commander on the background of recent security breaches in the province.The correspondent of IraqiNews.com reported that ”Wasit PC voted for appointing the Colonel Alaa Gharib as the new commander of police in Wasit province.”The Provincial Council of Wasit province summoned the dismissed commander, Raad Jawdat, for questioning him regarding the continues security breaches and the imposed security measures which hindered traffic flow, though he did not attend the questioning session. \END\
