IED defused in Nassiriya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The security forces defused an Improvised Explosive Device in Shatra area of northern Nassiriya city.The Ministry of Interior declared in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The police forces were informed about an IED emplaced in the city and the police formed a patrol composed of intelligence, local police and the Explosive Ordinance Disposal elements headed directly to the IED location.””The patrol managed to defuse the IED,” the statement concluded. \END\
